Here’s a new story I’ve got to tell about a city with a
lot of curiosities.Today, dear readers, we arrived in Hong Kong. Hong Kong,
known for its wide skyline and deep natural harbour.
Today I want to tell you all something about the events
and festivals in Hong Kong. As I’m studying event- and projectmanagement it’s
might be very interesting to study their manner of celebration.
Harbour light show
This light
festival lightens more than 40 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour. The music which takes care of a big empathy
celebrates the energy, spirit and diversity of Hong Kong. This light show is
really the most beautiful light & sound experience of my life.
In the
articles base website there has been an article about the Victoria harbour,
which is believed to be the most developing harbour of Hong Kong. It’s not only
famous for its light and sounds show, also the very high architectural
buildings are something very spectacular, certainly in combination with the
lights.
Chinese
festivals
This festival is the biggest festival of the (new) year. This festival is celebrated from the first day of the first month of the year until the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese calendar. The exact calculation of the beginning of the new year is a bit intricate.
I would like to witness this celebration of the year once in my life, but for that I’ll have to come back another time.
Major
venues
Hong Kong might
be a very interesting city for all students of event- and project management.
In every week of the year there’s something going on. Hong Kong has a lot of
major venues which are always located next to a lot of hotels. We’ve visited
some venues which we thought were interesting to see.
In this
building a lot of events are organised and it also has a great view.
This
building is definitely worth visiting.
Bye bye
Melissa
Indeed, what a spectacular light festival! I've never seen something like that before in my life! I'll never forget how impressive it was! Ilse xxx
